My pit bull, Bones, snores so loud at night when she sleeps. It doesn’t seem to be affecting her quality of sleep, just mine…LOL I’m pretty sure her vet could prescribe something, but I was wondering if anyone had tried any of the over the counter medications for dogs with snoring problems. If so, did any of them seem to work?

Only your vet can tell you what you need to know.
Essentially, unless your dog has an occlusion (a blockage of some sort), there isn’t much to do. Nor should you.
My dogs snore too, and the get worse with age (like people), so I sympathize. I just had to learn to live with it.
Take her to the vet and get her checked out. But the overwhelming likelyhood is she just snores!
Good luck!
I have never seen any over the counter medication work for people or pets. She should be checked for allergies or if she has any obstruction in her breathing. There may be nothing they can do for the snoring they don’t have those breathing strips for dogs LOL>
I’d try earplugs. For your ears, not her nose, silly.
i dont know
Maybe you should call your vet and ask about an over the counter med first. I wouldn’t give my dog anything at all without asking the vet first. sweet dreams if you get any lol
There isn’t much you can do for a dog. You can get a glycerin spray that you put in the back of their throat… but most dogs snore in their muzzle, not in their throats like humans. I would be surprised if anything can be done with a medication to change it.
That dog is being very naughty! send him to the naughty corner!
im trying to be super nanny
