Last year I broke my nose, I was drunk and walked into a tree lol, anyway it doesn’t bother me but its not the same shape as it was, my girlfriend told me that I should get a nose job to get my old nose back because its made ugly, so I was wondering should I do it and does it hurt and how much does it cost, Im 19 if age has anything to do with it, cheers.

does that put anything into perspective for you? cosmetic surgery is something you do for yourself not something you do for ANYONE else.

**fixing a nose for health reasons is one thing. fixing a nose because it is now “ugly” is another. is it your health or your looks she is worried about?

Yes, and your medical insurance ought to cover it as corrective cosmetic surgery.
Be thankful you’re with someone who has the integrity to be honest with and give the push you need to take care of yourself.
They can fix your nose, make it happen sooner than later – the longer you wait the harder it will be.
If you were in a skying accident and knocked a tooth out, you’d get a fake one put in right?

This is *not* like asking her to get a boob-job to make them bigger. It’s like pushing her to make the cosmetic surgery appointment after having one removed due to breast cancer.
I think you should see a doctor for your drinking problem first. It could cause you or some other poor people trouble.
Also, if you broke your nose, you might have deviated septum too. See a doctor for that. You should have a cosmetic nose surgery only if you really want to.
But if you don’t, your girlfriend might not be that interested in you anymore.
I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, it does seem shallow that she is so focused on your looks. On the other, even if you got your nose fixed, if you are still getting drunk enough that you will walk into a tree, there is really no point in getting your nose fixed because the same thing could happen again anyway. So, quit drinking and lose the girlfriend. Or ask her to get a boob job.
