i am a 38 yr old healthy male, no allergies or anything.
Is it a simple procedure, or will results vary huge by doctor? Is there a resource where i can find unbiased reviews or reffereals of cosmetic surgeons in my area? How closely can the doctors make your nose look like they do on the computer simulations they run during initial meetings?
What are costs?
I Am Considering A Rhinoplasty Nosejob. Can You Answer These Questions For Me?

Hi! I have had rhinoplasty nosejob surgery TWICE and have plenty of information for you. :<)
I had mine fixed because of a deviated septum (and it was ugly). I had it done at Johns Hopkins hospital but unfortunately, it “collapsed” shortly after the procedure. It sounds awful but it’s just that it goes back to it’s original form. I actually thought it looked WORSE so I went to a plastic surgeon specialist. I liked the result but again, it collapsed. It’s been about 7 years since that last one but I am considering doing it again.
It is a pretty simple procedure and they will put you down while they do this. You won’t have to spend the night as the procedure only takes a couple of hours. The recovery will take about 4-7 days. You will be bedridden so get ready to take off work.
There is no way to make the nose look exactly like the simulations. But by giving them a general idea of the look you are trying to achieve (i.e. narrower, more convex slope, etc) they will be able to give you your customized look.
When I did it, it cost about $10,000 each time.
For unbiased reviews of cosmetic surgeons in the area, try Yelp. I wish that was around when I did it.
