Ok so I got a rhinoplasty about four weeks ago and here is what to expect:
when you wake up right after your surgeory you feel like crap
you will be loopy for the first three days because of the pain killers and pain
your nose will feel almost wooden like for the first two weaks
you will be swollen for the first two weeks
you will have bloody drainage for the first weak
you won't be able to wear sunglasses for six months
and lastly you will feel a lot better about yourself; just changing one thing about myself gave me a lot more confidence
its really not that dangerous and totally worth it: good luck!

There are a lot of factors involved... A surgeon will need to examine the tissue and x-ray the bone that makes up your nose to see how effective a rhinoplasty will be (EVERY case is different). Having had various cosmetic surgeries myself due to a birth defect, I would definitely urge you to see a well-qualified COSMETIC surgeon (NOT AN E.N.T), and get an evaluation done. From the details you've provided, I think surgery would work out really well for you!
While I don't agree with people that go surgery-crazy when they don't have any birth defects or injuries, I am definitely an advocate for the confidence and relief a cosmetic procedure or two can bring! For some people, it's a very positive life decision!

A nasal splint is normally worn for the first week after rhinoplasty.
people that have just gotten the nose job
can expect swelling and some bruising around the eyes after surgery
which will begin to improve after the third day, but lasts up to two
weeks.
nose job) recovery requires patience. The nose and face are initially
swollen, sore, and bruised. Some bleeding is common. Although
these side effects are not usually bothersome after the first week or
two, some minor residual swelling may persist for several months, and
the final results of surgery may not be visible for up to a year. Because
of these inevitable effects, many patients prefer to wear some sort of
covering for the nose after surgery.
...........it's a recovery process

you may have a deviated septum. i have one and my left side of my face works better than the right because the right side of my nose as somewhat of an awkward bump and doesn't look as good as the left. i may be getting it fixed soon! its not really considered a "nose job" because you are only correcting the septum but it may straighten out the right side of your nose. it usually doesn't change the outside appearance of your nose though. but if your nose looks strange due to the deviated septum and you get surgery done on it, it'll probably fix the bump/unnaturalness of it. :)
hope that helped!
